Consultation Services

I provide consultation services for schools, businesses, and community-based organizations seeking to strengthen communication, support healthy behavior change, and foster respectful, values-driven cultures. My work is grounded in the principles of Motivational Interviewing, effective communication science, and a recovery-focused perspective that emphasizes dignity, autonomy, and growth.

For schools, consultation focuses on improving staff–student communication, reducing resistance, and supporting behavior change through empathy, collaboration, and consistency. Services may include professional development, coaching for educators and administrators, and strategies for engaging students and families in ways that promote accountability without shame.

For businesses and organizations, consultation helps leaders and teams communicate more responsibly—especially during conflict, change, or high-stress situations. Emphasis is placed on building engagement, increasing buy-in, addressing ambivalence, and aligning communication with organizational values. The result is clearer expectations, stronger relationships, and more effective leadership.

For community and human service agencies, consultation integrates Motivational Interviewing with a recovery-oriented lens. This approach supports staff in working with individuals and families in ways that promote self-efficacy, reduce power struggles, and honor lived experience. Training and consultation are practical, skill-based, and directly applicable to real-world challenges.

Across all settings, the goal is the same: to help individuals and organizations communicate responsibly, support meaningful change, and create environments where people are more likely to listen, engage, and move forward.
